Arguments from the Qur’an

The Holy Qur’an contains various references and explanations about Jesus (PBUH). These statements are specifically directed toward the primary audience of the Qur’an—the people of the Arabian Peninsula. The purpose of these references was to refute their false claims and unfounded theories. Among these claims is the assertion regarding Jesus’s death and ascension to God, which is addressed in three places in the Qur’an.
